Free Printables

I just posted a couple new devotionals on the website.  One is The Altering Altitudes of Attitudes and one is Change Happens.  Really the devotional on change was part of one of my points on the attitudes one but it was a little long so I just took that out and made it into another devotional devoted to that point.

Good and bad attitudes are something we all deal with so of course it is a good topic for a ladies meeting.  There’s a lesson handout with some questions concerning our attitudes and also there’s a handout with some discussion questions for a group setting to go along with the main points from the Altering Altitudes of Attitudes Devotional.

Sharing another idea to use school supplies in your women’s ministry so you can take advantage of those Back to School sales.  This supply is one I’ve used a lot over the years – Pocket Folders.   I’ve always got a stack of folders (with pockets) in my hall closet that I’ve usually purchased at next to nothing.

For Bible Studies:
I like using these pocket folders when I start a new Bible Study that has several lessons.  I give each lady a folder with their first lesson and sometimes an overview of what we’ll be studying and tell them they need to bring them each week to Bible Study.

I’ve normally passed out a page each week for the ladies to add to their folders for the weekly lesson.  It helps them keep track of their lessons instead of stuffing them into their Bibles.  That makes it especially nice if there is something we may go back to that we’ve already covered and everyone will have all the lessons with them in class.

For Leadership Teams:
These pocket folders are also nice to hand out to team members if you are doing planning for your women’s ministry.  Here’s a few things you may want to place in those.

  • The member’s job description (Do they have any particular tasks?  If so individualize them and make sure their names are on the folders)
  • Mission Statement if you have one (Let them know what they are working towards)
  • Summary of Chain of Command for your women’s ministry (who’s in charge, leadership role listing, how purchases are made, etc.)
  • Several copies of the Theme Planning Form
  • Yearly Planning Sheet
  • Articles or Helps you feel they may benefit from as a leader.  Find some of my articles here.
  • Your women’s ministry calendar of events or proposed calendar.
  • Copy of a yearly calendar (or 2 years)
  • A list of your ladies within your church for the leaders to pray for.

I’m sharing some free Bible Study printables for you.  I made one in black and white so it would go with any color.  I just print them out on copy paper and use glue sticks on them but you can use any adhesive you like.  I’ve found as long as you get the edges covered with adhesive they stay on pretty well.  Sometimes I layer them onto card-stock to make them look prettier.

You can perk the plain folders up as much as you want.  For the one in the photo, I decorated a clip with the same scrapbook paper I used on the folder, added some craft yarn to it, and clipped it to the top of the folder.  They also have “pretty” folders out there to use too.  I’ve just found that the ladies I’ve worked with like the solid colors best to carry with them every week.

Have a creative day,

Hello Creative Friends,

Yesterday I mentioned that I would share some more printables for Extra Gum so here they are.  The first one is to emphasize what a great God we have and would be good to pass out at any ladies meeting.

Do any of you play Bejeweled?  If you do well in the game, the voice will sometimes say, “Extraordinary!” — not that I get that too much when I play:)  Love that word to describe what a wonderful God we have.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and
knowledgeof God! how unsearchable are his judgments,
and his ways past finding out!  Romans 11:33

The other two printables are more which can be used for volunteers.  Hope you enjoy.
