Hello! My name is Julia Bettencourt.
So glad you’ve dropped in to learn a little more about me. This blog is a place for me to share my creative endeavors with you.
Crafting, decorating, and do-it-yourself projects are just a few of my favorite things. If you enjoy the creative process for that type of thing, I trust that you will stick around, prop your feet up, and enjoy the blog posts that I share. It seems I go in spurts as to what my creative and crafty whims are.
Just a little about me. I have been married for over 30 years. My husband and I met at Tennessee Temple University back in the early 80’s.
We have three kids. Our oldest daughter, Kayla, is married to my sweet son-in-law, John. They don’t have any kids, but yes, I have a grand-dog. Her name is Minion and she has her own Instagram.
My two youngest (son and daughter) are still at home. Tara is a senior and Aaron a sophomore in high school. They keep me running with FFA meetings and competitions, band and band reviews, orchestra, and other things.
I have been involved in local church women’s ministry for a long time and founded the Creative Ladies Ministry website back in 2001. Over on that website you will find my writing, mostly devotionals and articles for women’s ministry. You’ll find lots of tips and goodies for revitalizing your women’s ministry on that website as well. Many of the posts you will find here on the blog may be related to women’s ministry in some way. I have found that planning events and activities for women’s ministry requires a lot of creativity just because sometimes those budgets are small that we are working with.
When I named this blog my username on some of my craft message boards was 2BCreative so I thought I’d use that in my blog name. I finally came up with Made 2B Creative because of the fact that God gave me this desire to create.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop in and visit with me. I love comments so be sure to say hello. If you see a project that I’ve done and you can’t figure out how to make it, want to know what a product I used in a craft is, or where I got something, feel free to ask.
