Hello Creative Friends,
I’m scheduled today for surgery (minor) so I won’t be around for a few days but I’ve set a few posts for you ahead of time for the next week. Please pray for me! My card today says, “Amazing Grace will bring us through”. I thought that was quite appropriate for my surgery day.
I saw a sketch over at Jen’s SFYTT (Sketch For You To Try) and I thought it did look fun to try so I went for it. I used my new Amazing Grace stamp from Verve and dug out some old Stampin’ Up! Bella Rose patterned paper. That paper was one of my favorites. I wish they’d sell it again!
The little frame is a piece of chipboard that I covered with patterned paper and then sponged the edges with Riding Hood Red ink. I had got a pack of miscellaneous chipboard pieces awhile back at Ross. I loved the shape of this piece and I’ve been trying to find something to use it on. I thought it framed the saying perfectly.
Thanks for stopping in and thanks to those of you who’ve already told me you’d be praying for me!
