Lavender and Lace Women’s Event Theme

Today I want to share with you some ideas for a “Lavender and Lace” Women’s Ministry Event Theme using lavender, lace, and purple shades of color for inspiration.

I think this would be a perfect feminine theme for a ladies event. Perhaps a lovely Mother-Daughter (or Friends) Banquet.

  Wondering how your event went…I am organizing a ladies (all ages) event next week and plan on using all of these ideas…the purples, lavender sachets & mist bottles, the lace decor, etc. I’m having a speaker talk on fragrances and aromatherapy, too. So I’m curious how everything turned out.

Hi there,

Going to do it in February so would appreciate your ideas so that I can include into our program..

One of the things I plan to do is put a Lavender sprig into an organza/lace bag and they can put it under their pillow to help with sleeping. Can be used for ages as it also works well when it eventually dries out. A gift for each of the ladies.

I am looking for ideas to incorporate the “lace” in the theme. Thought of describing lace and how “just like a women it is” e.g. lace is beautiful, delicate, revealing, beautifully designed, etc: and then relating that to us women. We are beautiful, delicate (we are emotional and caring), revealing (lace covers up but not everything, as women we try to cover up our emotions, but sometimes we reveal more than we think), just some ideas running through my mind.
