Hello Creative Friends,
Sharing a thank you gift for volunteers. Wouldn’t these be fun to have for your next team member (committee – or whatever you call your helpers) meeting? Also this would be good to give as a teacher gift. This is a play on words for a Mountain Dew Bottle along with a mini size Mounds Bar. “Mounds of thanks for all you Dew”. I used a 20 oz Mountain Dew bottle.

I made a hanger for the Mountain Dew bottle out of card-stock (similar to the water bottle hanger), only for this I made the measurements 7 and 3/4 by 3 inches and scored at 2 inches at each end. Fold one end down and the other up, making a pocket on one end and punching a hole in the other end as a hanger for the bottle.
I used a 1 and 1/4 inch punch for the hanger but you can use one a little larger if you wish. Mine was snug on my Mountain Dew bottle. For the pocket I adhered the edges with sticky strip. I think this is the best adhesive for this unless you opt to use brads on the corners (example here).
I’ve made a circle printable for you. You can punch this out with a 1 and 3/4 inch punch. For mine, I edged the printable with some bright green ink I had. Thought it would give it a boost.
Important: To place in the Mounds Bar, you need to squeeze the sides of the pocket of the holder just slightly to give it a little give for it to fit inside. Squeeze gently:)
For those of you who don’t have the correct paper punch for the printable, I’ve made a square one for you.

Have a creative day,

This is a really cute idea. I’ve got two special helpers who are big Mt. Dew fans — this will be a perfect little “thank you” for them!
I am just seeing this, how cute! Our pastor’s wife does something similar for special speakers for our ladies meetings but she doesn’t use the pocket or mountain dew. I will show her this!
Thank you so much for sharing this! It is perfect for our school custodian! He loves Diet Mountain Dew and Chocolate!
Making these for the nurses taking care of my son.
Hi Carol. So glad you could use the idea. Whatever the health issues with your son, I’m stopping just now to send up some prayers for him.
I LOVE this! Thanks so much for sharing! Is there any way you could email me the round tag printable with no color? I only have a black and white printer, so the green shows as grey. I don’t have photoshop, otherwise I wouldn’t be bothering you.
Once again, thanks so much for your creativity!!
I came across your blog a few weeks ago and have been reading along. I’m loving it! Keep up the good mood.
Recently, a close friend of mine created a website and I would like to share it with you, as I think you would like it too. It’s called The Birthday Times (thebirthdaytimes.com), and gives you the newspaper of the day of your birthday. It shows real events and facts of the day you were born. I already knew a few projects like this, but I think this one stands out a little bit from the rest.
So, here’s my tip!
Thanks,
Regina
Thanks Regina for your kind comments. I’ll be sure to check out your friend’s websie.
Hello, sorry to bother you, but where do you get the “card stock” at? I have never heard of that haha, I so want to make this!
Melissa. Just at any craft store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby.
Super creative! Definitely going to use this! Thanks!
