It’s Halloween Time so what better time to talk about monsters. As Christians, there are some creepy creatures that try to jump out of our closets like pride, selfishness, and jealousy. They are monsters for sure!
I have some Monster Lesson Handouts for you focusing on these three ”monsters” with Bible verses and a few questions for reflection.
These things make us act like monsters too. Sometimes they make us hiss, scowl, grunt, and all sorts of things. There’s a Monster Behavior Word Search for you that you can use as an ice-breaker that has all types of things that monsters do.
If you are having a Fall or Halloween Party, the Monster Behavior Word Search might be fun to use for that. I’m not giving you an answer key for the Word Search but my 13 and 14 year olds helped find the words, so I know you can find all the words too:)

Hope you have a monstrously creative day,
I just posted a couple new devotionals on the website. One is The Altering Altitudes of Attitudes and one is Change Happens. Really the devotional on change was part of one of my points on the attitudes one but it was a little long so I just took that out and made it into another devotional devoted to that point.
Good and bad attitudes are something we all deal with so of course it is a good topic for a ladies meeting. There’s a lesson handout with some questions concerning our attitudes and also there’s a handout with some discussion questions for a group setting to go along with the main points from the Altering Altitudes of Attitudes Devotional.

Hello Creative Friends,
Sharing an idea today for a ladies meeting revolving around being “Tried and True” such as a tried and true recipe, tried and true friends, tried and true methods of doing something, tried and true products. There’s lots of things we think of as tried and true.
There is a new “Tried and True” Devotional on the website dealing with Job, who definitely was a tried and true man of God. I have a Bible Study Question handout with 31 questions from the book of Job, plus a download on how we respond to trials which also has the devotional outline with it. Next there is a recipe page download that you can handout ahead of your meeting and exchange some tried and true recipes among your ladies.
Note: There’s an answer key for the lesson questions so be sure to download that as well as the lesson itself (links are just above the graphics). I used the KJV for my answers.

I have an October handout for you today and also a printable bookmark with the Scripture, 2 Corinthians 12:9. You can see in the photo, I layered my bookmarks on cardstock and added yarn and ribbon.
