Have a creative day,

I’ll be sharing just a few more Back to School items to use for Women’s Ministry with you this week. Today I’m sharing a tip to use pencil pouches for Ladies Retreat goodie bags. These are especially great for those extended or overnight retreats and camp/resort retreats. It’s an easy thing for your ladies to carry with them to sessions and workshops so they’ll have pen and paper in their hands for taking notes.
Most stores with school supplies carry these year round but if you need quite a few of them, it’s best to purchase them at Back to School time when there’s a bigger supply. You can get the plain ones usually for about $1.00. They get more expensive with more styles and designs but for this, you’ll probably want the plain ones anyway.

Here’s some ideas to put in your Retreat Goodie Bags:
- Individual pack of tissues.
- Pen
- Small notebook of paper
- Mints
- Your retreat brochure/schedule
- Map of facility (if needed)
- Check the List of Goodie Bag Suggestions on the website for more ideas.
- Be sure to see the Goodie Bag Tips Page for suggestions to obtain free goodies.
- Tip - Pin name badges to the front of these.

Have a creative day,

Am sharing a Prayer Clock printable with you today. You can put this on a bulletin board or clip board for your ladies group to sign up for a prayer emphasis.
This can be used for a variety of things. Perhaps you could pray for a revival coming up in your church, someone that’s extremely ill, a ladies retreat or banquet that you’ll be holding - anything you want. It’s a great way to unite in prayer over one thing. There’s a place for you to write in your prayer topic at the top of the page and a place at the bottom of the page to place in the dates for the length of time you want your Prayer Clock to be active.
This clock runs from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m. so there are twenty slots. If you have a lot more ladies, just copy it more than once and get a few clocks going. You can stress that they don’t need to pray the entire hour they sign up under, just that they should make time during that hour to stop and pray.

Have a beautiful creative day,

It’s time again for another school supply idea to be used for women’s ministry. Today’s tip is using the small individual size white boards at your meetings. These are great especially if you do a lot of games and icebreakers where you have the ladies write down their answers. Nice for multiple choice answers where they just need to write a letter in response to each question.
You can normally get these for $1.00 at the dollar stores. The one in the photo I purchased at Target in their $1.00 bins. They look like notebook paper. Of course you’ll notice I wrote on the back of the pager:) I would probably only recommend using these for small groups under 15 (which is what a lot of you tell me you have) as you will need one for each lady. You will have to purchase the dry erase markers as well so it is a little investment.

These are also great for small size Sunday School kid’s classes. I taught 4-6 grade Sunday School for a lot of years in a few different churches and I know my kids would have loved to use these for the little quizzes and questions I gave them each week about the lessons. It’s kind of neat that you can now get the dry erase markers in all kinds of colors.
Tip: Have someone in charge of cleaning the white boards and recapping the markers tightly after each use before they are put away. These type of markers tend to dry out quickly if they are not capped properly.

I found these whiteboard strips (above) in the Target $1.00 bins too. Thought they’d be fun to write out labels for your food at a Back to School Themed Event. If you are having a small get together, they would serve nicely as name place cards. Use the larger individual size ones for writing out Bible verses or sayings and prop up on your event tables.
