Hello Creative Friends,
Some of you mentioned to me that you’d like some ideas for a Olympic Ladies Meeting Theme. I thought I’d share a few things with you to get you started and you can add your comments to the post with your own ideas. Thought we could brainstorm this one together.

Olympic Cookie Rings from The Decorated Cookie.
First off, here’s what I have:
Alternative Theme Titles:
- More Than Gold
- Go for the Gold
- Pass the Torch
- Run the Race
- Join the Team
Theme Verse Suggestions:
- “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith “ 2 Timothy 4:7
- “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” 1 Corinthians 9:24
- “Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.” Philippians 2:16
- “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Hebrews 12:1
Decorating Ideas:
- Make Olympic Rings. Spray paint hula hoops in the Olympic colors and hot glue together.
- Use trophies for the tables. They carry small ones at the dollar store (in the party supply section) which you could add into floral arrangements.
- Gold tissue paper sticking out of glasses/cups to simulate torches.
- Winner medals hung around napkins.
- Flags from different countries in floral arrangements.
Just for Fun:
- Hold your event during the Olympics and set the time in order to watch one of the events together as a ladies group.
Please help me out and add your comments for this theme! Anything from theme titles, decorating, game ideas, favors, food ideas etc.

Have a creative day,

Hello Creative Friends,
I have been looking for some fun patriotic foods for July 4th so I thought I’d share what I found with you. I think for sure I will try some of the Stuffed Strawberries.

Have a creative day,

Hello Creative Friends,
I thought you all might enjoy this tutorial from The Dollar Tree today. I’ve been seeing these glass projects around the web and have been wanting to try some of them myself.
I did notice that the girl uses Super Glue in the video but from what I’ve seen, the recommended glue to do these projects is E-6000 which you can get at craft stores or even Walmart. It’s made to be used on glass and is washer and dryer safe.
For my niece’s wedding, they filled the canning jar type one like on the video (which the girl on the video calls a wine glass) with candies on the tables which was cute. They had like three sizes on the tables with different candies such as M&M’s and others. Maybe even nuts. I can’t remember. I just remember they were very cute.
I think the ideas for these for Women’s Ministry events are endless. They are something if you make up, you can reuse in different ways.

Have a creative day,
Hello Creative Friends,
Sharing an idea today to hold an Accessory Swap for a women’s ministry meeting. We all have accessories we collect, were given as gifts, bought and thought we’d like and never wear. I have lots of things like that myself. Why not choose one to wrap up and bring to an Accessory Swap so someone else can take it off your hands? They might really love it more than you do and might even actually use it.
Tell the ladies in your women’s group to bring in one wrapped gift of one of their scarves, hats, jewelry, purses, gloves, belts, or any ladies accessory they can think of. You should tell them all to make sure their items are in good condition. If it’s junk–throw it out. Don’t bring it to the Swap:)
Plan out a fun time of sharing and you’ll all be in for a good time. Exchange the gifts by assigning them numbers or exchange in anyway you wish.
