Going to share quickly before I need to get going an idea that came to me after seeing some craft posts of “ruffles” online.  Thought we might could turn that into a fun woman’s ministry theme.  Devotion could be on not getting our feathers ruffled – how God can calm us when we do get our feathers ruffled, etc.  I think this could be turned into a really fun girly theme.  This idea makes me think of Romans 8:28

“And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God, to them
who are the called according to his purpose.”

Here’s some fun things I found on the web.

• Wrap doorprizes in Ruffles Gift Wrapping.

• Serve Ruffle Cupcakes.

• Serve Madeline Cookies.  There’s lots of recipes for these online but you can purchase store bought too.

• Find some inspiration from other events.  See a Ruffles Baby Shower here.

• Serve drink in ruffled cups.  This one is done from sewing but I’d probably op for putting a rubber band around the crepe paper and tying ribbon over it to cover the rubber band.

• Place silverware in ruffled containers decorated with crepe paper.

• Make some ruffled flowers to use on favors.  Here’s another style.

• Make some ruffled topiaries for decoration.

• Be sure to serve Ruffles potato chips.

• Above all- don’t get ruffled in planning:)
