Hello Creative Friends,
Happy 4th of July! I hope you enjoy your day. I’m so grateful for our freedom and those who serve and have served to help keep it.
I thought for my first Sunday post on my new blog, I’d share this little Scripture fold-out album that I made to put inside an Altoids size tin. I’ve been wanting to make one of these for a long time. I finally got to it. I’m going to give it to a special friend. The fold-out has 5 panels. I was going to print out some verses from the computer but I ended up using some of my Verve Plain Jane bible verse stamps that I have. I thought they worked well together.
I added some buttons, little brads, a punch bird, and some little punch butterflies and flowers to perk it up. My flower on top of the tin is made with punches. I used some of that October Afternoon Thrift Shop paper that I love so much. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.
I just put a few buttons and a punch flower on the first page as it would be on the top when it’s folded and I wanted to tie it up with a bow. You can click on any of the photos for a closer look.
The above photo is how it looks all tied up inside the tin. I just attached the ribbon on the underside of the last panel so I could bring it around and tie it.
Supply Lists?
I decided I’d start putting my supply lists for my projects at the bottom of each post so they are easier to find. Sometimes I just say things like card-stock or designer paper or just punch shapes though as I use what’s in my stash sometimes and don’t have a clue where, when, or what color or brand name they are. I don’t always write what color of ink pad I use either. When I start keeping track too much, it doesn’t remain fun for me any longer and I like to enjoy what I’m doing!
Have a creative day,
