Takeaway Tuesdays on the Made2bCreative BlogMeet me at midnight!

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!  My family and I enjoyed ourselves.  It’s always fun to sit down and just relax and laugh with my kids.

Takeaway Tuesday has rolled around again.  Today I’m sharing one of the easiest New Year’s favors that you can make.  Hershey’s Kisses for midnight!  There is a free printable tag for them which you can pick up and save to your files.

Easy New Year's Favors with Hersheys Kisses

Just add the tag to a cellophane bag of Hershey’s Kisses to give away some midnight kisses.

I’ve made up a pdf with 12 tags for you.  Be sure to grab the file and not the image.  I used one of the large oval Stampin’ Up! punches on mine but you can make them square too.

home sweet home

Are any of the rest of you like me and just love staying home and piddling around your house?  I thought when I got my second knee replacement done this summer, that by now I’d be wanting to go everything…and I did at first, but really I find myself just wanting to come home and work on my house.

We bought this old house around 8 years ago and we had all these plans but never really did much to it because I’ve had so much trouble with my knees and other health issues.  You know….that stuff called life!

This sign is my sentiment for today  because after I drop off my daughter for her college classes today, I am going to move my furniture around.  I’m want to be ready to put up a tree immediately after Thanksgiving!  I don’t decorate before but I am kind of chomping at the bit this year as both knees are working fine.  Praise the Lord!

I had printed this sign out and put it in my craft area but I have already taken it down and changed that area around too or I would have taken a picture of it for you.  Ha!

If you want to save this, I have it in a PDF, which is how I do all the printables I do for my home.  They will fit a document frame but if you want an 8 x 10 for this, there is plenty of white space to cut it down to size.

By the way, the handwritten font I used on this is King Basil Lite, which I kind of have an obsession with right now.  You can pick it up for free here.

A blast from the past.

I’m working on redoing the main website and I am moving any craft pages from the site here to the blog.  I’d like to keep all my crafts on the blog and my writing on the main website.

This is a favor I did several years ago.  If you’ve been following the site for awhile, you may have already grabbed this idea.

You just add the tag to anything powered or glittery.  I put mine with bottled waters and drink packets.

This favor idea goes along with the Women’s Ministry Princess Theme on the main website.  If you want to make the water bottle holders, you can find the how-tos for them on this post.

I’ll be holding another “Love” Memory Verse Challenge in February.  This year our memory verses will be concentrating on loving others.  Starting February 1 through the 14th, I’ll be posting a verse each day on the Creative Ladies Ministry Facebook Page.  I hope many of you will join along with me and memorize these verses together.
