The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalm 19:1
I think as we head into Fall it is a good time to reflect on the beauty of what God created. I guess because I just love those pumpkins, the leaves turning, along with that cool burst of air that I hope is coming. Not so sure here in California when that coolness will come, but I am sure am looking forward to it.
Thought it was a good time to share a quick little favor idea using a printable of Psalm 19:1. I used the first part of the verse on this. Just print, cut out the tags, and attach them to a toothpick. I folded the left side of the tag around the back of the toothpick and added a tiny piece of tape. You can cut an indention on them or leave them as is.
I’ve placed my verse picks into Milky Way Bars to tie in with the verse about the “heavens”. You could also put them into Mars Candy Bars or use them as cupcake toppers.
Note: When you place the toothpicks into the candy bars, be gentle so you don’t squash the candy bar:)
Did you know that there are some fun recipes using Milky Way Candy Bars floating around the web? I would love to try one of these when I have time.
- Oatmeal Brownie Milky Way Bars (I Am Baker)
- Milk Way Candy Bar Cake (Just a Pinch)
- Milky Way Candy Bar Cupcakes (Inside Bru Crew Life)
- Candy Bar Chocolate Chip Cookies (Picky Palate)
Have a creative day,
Here on the blog I’m sharing an idea for a “mint” gift. I use the same “ment” words on this that I do in the devotional. These mint gifts would be great for team leaders and volunteers that help you with your ladies ministry. Also this would make a great teacher’s gift.
I started with some Hershey’s Bliss Mint Candies.
I filled a mason jar with the candies.
Placed a piece of pretty scrapbook paper (cut to fit) on the lid.
Then added a ribbon and the Thank You Tag. And that was it.
If you are handing them out to a large group of volunteers,
you can just tape an indivual wrapped mint candy
to the corner of the printable tag using rolled tape or a glue dot.
Other Items to Attach “Mint” Tag to:
- Package of Breath Mints
- Mint Flavored Gum
- Mint 3 Musketeers Bar
- Ande’s Mints
- Box of Mint Flavored Tea
- Mint Cookies
- Mini Container of Mint Flavored Ice Cream (for a mint gift you deliver to a home so it can be put in freezer)
- Mint Scented Body Lotion/Oil/Cream
- Individually Wrapped Cupcake with Mint Icing
- “Ment” (Meant) to Serve Devotional
- “Ment” Words Ladies Meeting Idea
- Candy Cane Women’s Ministry Theme

Have a creative day,
Sharing a couple free printable tags with you today to use as a small gift of encouragement idea for someone who has hit a “sour patch” in their life. I think we all know someone like that who might need a little encouragement.
Just put the tag with any Sour Patch brand candy. They make them in larger packs, individual bags and even boxes (the movie candy size). You could use lemon or “sour” candy of any type.
Original artwork used on printable by Trina Clark.

Have a creative day full of blessings,
Hello Creative Friends,
Yesterday I mentioned that I would share some more printables for Extra Gum so here they are. The first one is to emphasize what a great God we have and would be good to pass out at any ladies meeting.
Do any of you play Bejeweled? If you do well in the game, the voice will sometimes say, “Extraordinary!” — not that I get that too much when I play:) Love that word to describe what a wonderful God we have.
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and
knowledgeof God! how unsearchable are his judgments,
and his ways past finding out! Romans 11:33
The other two printables are more which can be used for volunteers. Hope you enjoy.
