Christmas

Sharing some bake sale photos today.  Before Christmas my daughter’s band held a bake sale before, after, and during intermission of one of their concerts.  I had noticed a fun way to package cupcakes on Pinterest using clear plastic cups.  I placed my cupcakes inside the plastic cups, then I slid in a plastic fork behind the cupcake.   You really need something to eat them with because they would be very messy to take out of the cups.   When I placed each cupcake down in the cellophane bag, I put a paper napkin behind the fork and tied them up with ribbon.

They ended up very cute.  I wasn’t able to attend but my husband and daughter came home and said that all of my things went fast.  There is something about cute packaging that people can’t resist.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

I made two kinds of cupcakes for the bake sale, red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and vanilla cupcakes with white icing sprinkled with coconut.  The tags in the photos were some I made with Trina Clark’s graphics (Digi Scrap Kits).

I also made snickerdoodle cookies (with Emeril’s recipe of course).   Those I placed in plastic sandwich bags by folding up pretty snowflake napkins and placing the cookie in front.  Actually I should say my daughter, Tara, put them in the bags.  She was a big help with that project.  She folded the sandwich bags over since they were too big and put stickers on the back to hold it down.  I had on hand some cute winter stickers from the dollar store.  She taped the tags to those.  Fast and easy.  Tying the tags with ribbon on the cupcakes got old quick.

Snickerdoodle Cookies

I put a bed of shredded paper in the bottom of gift boxes and placed them in those.

I’m sharing some gingerbread printables with you today.  They go with the Gingerbread Wishes! Women’s Ministry Theme on the website.  I had made some up before that I don’t offer anymore but these are new ones for you.  It includes the Gingerbread Prayer that I wrote to go with the Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice Devotional.

I put all of these printables in one PDF Download for you.  The devotional is included as well.
